Today our theme study was all about RAIN!! We learned about the water cycle and created our own water cycle! We also talked about what happens to water puddles and why they disappear. We used a skillet to heat water and see it disappear. For the water cycle I held a pan with ice cubes above the boiling water and slowly it condensed on the bottom of the pan and made water drops! Below are pictures of our water cycle experiment.
Then we completed another science experiment where we made it rain! The kiddos got a jar full of shaving cream clouds, then they dropped water on the "clouds." When the clouds were heavy with water, it started to RAIN!! It was super cool!
We had two more friends get their dollars today! So we are up to 3 dollar store shoppers!
