Today we talked about the rule of taking care of our things. We practiced putting away our materials at our tables and helping each other as a team. We also practiced using glue today! Your child's glue monster will come home tomorrow!
This afternoon during our theme study we broke open the coconut! The kids were SUPER excited about this and loved watching me work up a sweat to break it open :) After we broke it open we talked about the different parts of the coconut.
After gym class the kids came back to do a coconut taste test! The kids tasted coconut water, shredded coconut, coconut cake, and coconut candy. The majority of kids loved the coconut cake!

It is wonderful the kids had a full experience...complete with taste!
